Business leaders and City officials will have an opportunity to learn firsthand why manufacturing is important to Chesapeake and the nation’s economy.  Plant tours will be given of Oceaneering International’s new 150,000 square foot facility and showcase its manufacturing division and skilled workforce.  For more than 30 years, Oceaneering has supported U.S. Navy operations around the world out of the Chesapeake office with a focus on submarines, deep submergence systems, and air cushion landing craft.  Attendees should RSVP to research@cityofchesapeake.net and are required to wear CLOSED toe shoes and CLOSED heel shoes.
