The annual State of the Region Report address examines Hampton Roads’ economic strengths, challenges, and prospects for recovery in 2022 and beyond. Produced by the Dragas Center for Economic Analysis and Policy at Old Dominion University, this year’s State of the Region presentation will discuss the economic impact of casinos on the Hampton Roads economy, the costs and benefits of cash bail reform in the region, and the continued recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
