Project Information:
Construction on the Dominion Boulevard Improvement Project began in January 2013. The project replaced the moveable Steel Bridge with a 95’ high, four-lane, fixed-span bridge – the Veterans Bridge. The project also widened Dominion Boule¬vard from two lanes to four lanes between Grassfield Parkway and I-64/I-464 (Phase I) and from Grassfield Pkwy south to US-17 (Phase II). Interchanges were created at Cedar Road, Bainbridge Boulevard/Dominion Lakes Boulevard, and Great Bridge Boulevard.
Directions:
From the North: Take I-64 Exit 291B or I-464/Route 168 Bypass Exit 15B towards US-17 S/Elizabeth City. Merge onto Dominion Boulevard. Continue south over Great Bridge Blvd to the exit for Dominion Lakes Blvd/Bainbridge Blvd. Turn right onto Dominion Lakes Blvd. Turn left onto Bainbridge Point. Continue for less than one mile. The Amber Lantern / Top Rack Marina will be on your right.
From the South: From Cedar Rd or Moses Grandy Trail turn onto Dominion Blvd US-17 N. Continue over the Veterans Bridge. Take the exit for Dominion Lakes Blvd/Bainbridge Blvd. Turn left onto Dominion Lakes. Turn left onto Bainbridge Point. Continue for less than one mile. The Amber Lantern / Top Rack Marina will be on your right.
