Due to a city-observed holiday, January’s EDAC meeting has been moved to Friday, January 20, 2016 from 8AM-9AM.
January’s meeting will be centered on Old Dominion University, covering topics pertaining to exploring new markets. The speakers are as followed:
- Elizabeth Dietzmann, Executive Director of GOV2COM. Topic: Helping defense contractors explore new markets through commercial sales
- Jim Lant, Director of the Reinvent Hampton Roads’ Regional Accelerator Export Program. Topic: Helping small and mid-size companies explore new markets outside Hampton Roads
- J.C. Brinker, Associate Director, Center for Enterprise Innovation. Topic: Exploring new markets through international sales
- Jim Shaeffer, Dean, College of Continuing Education and Professional Development. Topic: Workforce development for exploring new markets
